Field & Operations

Asphalt Laborer: Entry-level position for ground preparation, assisting the crew, and other tasks as needed.

Paving Crew Member: Supports the paving operation, works with the crew, and gains experience in the field.

Asphalt Paver Operator: Operates the asphalt paver machine to lay asphalt.

Screed Operator/Screwman: Controls the screed on the paver to ensure the correct spreading and smoothing of asphalt.

Roller Operator: Operates the asphalt roller to compact the newly laid asphalt. 

Asphalt Plant Laborer: Assists with the daily operations and upkeep of an asphalt plant.

Rakeman: Spreads and levels asphalt using a rake.

Driving & Logistics

CDL Driver: Operates dump trucks to haul asphalt and other materials.

Tanker Driver: Transports liquid asphalt and requires a Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.

Supervision & Management

Asphalt Foreman: Leads a paving crew, supervises daily work, and ensures safety and quality.

Asphalt Superintendent: Oversees larger operations, projects, and multiple crews.

Area Manager: Manages the overall operations within a specific geographic area.
